10 years ago we wrote this post outlining the 10 key B2B tech sites in the UK – well things have changed since then, with editorial teams dwindling and publications like TechWorld and V3 disappearing.
Below is a list of what we think are among the most influential and must read tech publications that break news, cover business insights, articles, reviews, latest developments and products, and boast significant audiences (noted below where available), in particular order.
1. TechRadar Pro

TechRadar Pro continues to deliver content focused on business IT insights, best practices and solutions for influential business leaders at the key phases in their buying cycle. Circulation for TechRadar as a whole is [NC1] 24.5 million, which is a 10.5 million increase of unique visitors per month compared to the round up we did 10 years ago, back in 2016, more than doubling its monthly readership.
2. The Register

The Register is a leading global online tech publication, with monthly unique browsers worldwide. The core audiences are the UK and US. It remains one of the most respected sources for enterprise technology, business software, and sharp IT analysis. Circulation: 5.2 – 9.5 million, with the UK audience between 1.5 million and 2.1 million. This site is highly engaging with over 20,000 monthly comments from IT and enterprise technology professionals.
3. Computer Weekly

Computer Weekly stands out from the many technology news websites on offer through its unique history, extensive reader community and in-depth coverage of the issues, challenges and trends facing today’s IT leaders. It provides the latest news and analysis through its website and popular weekly digital magazine, plus premium content and events for senior IT managers. This site continues to reach hundreds of thousands of IT decision-makers in the UK and all across Europe. Circulation: 1 million but Informa TechTarget, its parent company, also boasts a digital base exceeding 200,000.
4. ZDNETUK

ZDNet brings together global reach and local depth, delivering 24/7 news coverage and analysis on the trends, technologies and opportunities that matter to IT professionals and business decision makers. A top destination for enterprise and business technology insights. Circulation: 8 – 9.6 million, which seems like lots but industry reports comparing current circulation to what it was in 2022/3 indicate it’s seen a major decline in organic over the past two years due to search engine updates.
5. Silicon UK

Silicon UK is focused on technology powering business in the UK, providing news, analysis and features on enterprise IT, AI, cybersecurity and the developments shaping UK industry and organisations. It is part of a wider network of over 30 European technology news platforms with no circulation for any of them disclosed.
6. Computing
Website: https://www.computing.co.uk/
Computing has a laser focus on how technology is shaping the agenda of the UK’s biggest businesses, and strong interviews with CIOs, CTOs and CDOs. It is a key media resource for the UK’s board level IT leaders across print, online, and events. Circulation: 114,000 but with a super strong domain authority of 89 and a significant social media following including over 960,000 LinkedIn followers.
7. UKTN

The go-to online media brand for the UK technology industry. Covers the full spectrum from early-stage startups and scaling businesses to established tech companies, with strong business and innovation focus. Circulation: 50,000 so, as a niche trade publication, this is smaller but highly targeted and engaged.
8. IT Pro

IT Pro is for enterprise technology professionals and business decision-makers. Published by Future plc, it delivers breaking technology news, expert analysis, product reviews, opinion, and practical guidance across cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, infrastructure, digital transformation, and enterprise IT. Its audience includes CIOs, IT directors, security leaders, infrastructure professionals, and technology buyers. According to Future, IT Pro reaches more than 426,000 monthly users and has over 101,000 newsletter subscribers.
9. BusinessCloud

Explores the intersection of UK technology and business, with success stories, industry analysis and forward-looking content for business leaders and innovators. Circulation: 60,000 – 89,000 with a reported 71% year-over-year increase – mobile device viewers account for 52% of its traffic each month.
10. Sifted

Financial Times-backed platform covering European (with strong UK focus) startups, scaleups, innovation trends and the real stories behind building tech businesses. Circulation: 500,000 with free newsletters every weekday focusing on individual sectors each and every day, including AI & Deeptech on Monday, Fintech on Tuesday, Startup Life on Wednesday, Up Round (VCs) on Thursday, Pro Deals on Friday, alongside Sifted Daily newsletter.
