Google, BT and others are providing a free service to British businesses to help them get their first website – for free!
Have a look at www.gbbo.co.uk – all you need is a mobile phone and a business, what could be simpler?
I’ve had a play with it and it was dead easy and fast to get a domain name and website created. I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s using gbbo in the comments.
UPDATE: I’ve heard from some people in the know that if you drop out of the sign up process before the end – it is difficult to get back into it – so watch out for that.
Another update: GBBO doesn’t work anymore…try these guys for help.
