Networks and data centre – RiT Technologies

For over 25 years, RiT Technologies has provided network infrastructure solutions for data centers and communication networks.

Although RiT Technologies has a global client base, the company wanted to raise its profile in the UK and support the sales team. As part of the marketing effort, RiT Technologies had decided to attend the DataCenterWorld event in London 2014, and recognised its need for support before, during and after the event.

RiT Technologies hired technology and business specialist PR agency, Vitis PR to handle PR to support its show presence. The Vitis team worked closely with the marketing manager to ensure campaign success.

Vitis PR kicked off RiT Technologies campaign by maximising brand awareness through the negotiation of by-lined guest articles with selected data centre and networking media both in the UK and with publications that are read internationally.  In addition to raising RiT Technologies’ brand awareness within industry media through articles, Vitis PR also worked with two leading publications to place advertisements and sponsorship opportunities prior to the event. A lead generation campaign with banners, dedicated landing page and qualified leads was also negotiated and managed by Vitis PR. As the company built a brand new website, Vitis PR provided SEO feedback to the marketing manager. Vitis PR also issued press releases to coincide with the show education campaign to gain more share of voice in the crowded market. LinkedIN presence was important to the company, so Vitis PR managed posts to ensure that all news and articles were being shared.

Coverage of RiT Technologies appeared in Inside Networks, Data Center Solutions, Data Center Management, DataCenterJournal and DataCenterKnowledge. Articles were negotiated in most publications to coincide with show issues of magazines or prior to the event:

• 26 articles in total were generated in the run up to the event from December 2013 – February 2014
• Number of visitors to exhibition stand higher than in previous years
• Social media followers increased by 33% over 12 months
• Lead campaign has delivered good quality qualified leads that the sales team can follow up
• SEO support has helped the website in search engine rankings from day one.
