I need a blog but don’t have time to write it

At the ICT Conference yesterday, I was speaking to the MD of a small technology company and he told me that he wants and needs to blog (he'd heard that it's a good way to bring visitors to his website, show his thought leadership and show off what his company is up to), but he came up with quite a few reasons why he didn't blog, so I thought I'd summarise them here:
  1. No time
He is needed to run the business, oversee the management of key clients and is responsible for the overall success of the company, even sparing 30 minutes a day is a luxury.
  2. Doesn't want to be seen as a time waster
He'd read a few blogs where the author was plainly just promoting his business, showed no insight and was "just embarrasing" himself.  He didn't want to be perceived in that way.
  3. Not interested in debating with unknowns
He didn't want to get into any heated discussions.
  4. Poor writing skills
While he can write a great proposal and a diplomatic client email, he is a bit unsure of his writing skills.

I tried to tell him to write it if he could, otherwise think about finding a blog writer that can at least remove some of the burden and start off the posts, which then would require a quick edit.
